Absentee bids
Lots will always be bought as cheaply as is allowed by other bids and reserves.
This service is provided for the convenience of clients and Grosvenor will not be held responsible for failure to execute bids. Absentee bids, when placed by telephone, are accepted only at the sender’s risk and must be confirmed by letter of fax.
Please note that we cannot accept bids received later than one hour before the start of the auction.

Successful bids
Should you be a successful bidder, you will receive an invoice detailing your purchases. (If you wish this invoice to be faxed to you, please tick ) All purchases are insured in transit and will be sent by Special Delivery or International Recorded Delivery unless otherwise instructed, for which a minimum charge of £4.00 + VAT will be added to your invoice. Purchases weighing in excess of the maximum allowed weights for these services will be sent by approved courier at the lowest available cost unless we are otherwise instructed.

Payments by credit card
Please note that all payments for purchases by credit card are subject to a surcharge of 2.5% plus VAT on the surcharge, on the total invoice price.

Buyers' Premium
ALL BIDS WILL BE TAKEN AS EXCLUDING THE BUYERS' PREMIUM
A Buyers' Premium of 19.975% is added to the hammer price of each lot and all bids and limits are taken as exclusive of this premium. This premium is subject to VAT for all purchasers (except literature lots).
